Pudding Witches – A Spooky Frozen Halloween Treat
These delicious frozen sandwich cookies are a fun and easy Halloween treat for kids and adults alike. With a creamy peanut butter pudding filling nestled between graham crackers or chocolate wafers, these “Pudding Witches” are perfect for parties—or as a make-ahead surprise in lunchboxes!

🧂 Ingredients:
-
1 ½ cups cold milk
-
½ cup creamy peanut butter
-
1 package (3.4 oz) instant pudding mix (chocolate or vanilla)
-
24 graham crackers or chocolate wafer cookies
Tip: Chocolate wafers give it a more dramatic, witchy look, but graham crackers add a nostalgic flavor kids love.
🥣 Instructions:
-
Blend the Base
In a medium bowl, combine the cold milk and peanut butter. Whisk or blend until completely smooth. -
Add the Magic
Stir in the instant pudding mix. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed for 2 minutes until thick and creamy. -
Let It Set
Allow the mixture to stand for 5 minutes so it thickens to a spreadable consistency. -
Assemble the Witches
Spread approximately ½ inch of pudding filling onto 12 crackers or wafers. Top with the remaining 12 to make sandwich-style treats. -
Freeze the Spell
Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet lined with parchment and freeze for at least 3 hours or until firm. -
Serve or Store
Enjoy straight from the freezer for a creamy crunch! Store any extras in an airtight container in the freezer for up to one week.
🎃 Fun Ideas:
-
Roll the edges in Halloween sprinkles or crushed chocolate cookies before freezing.
-
Add candy eyes or decorate with icing to make each “witch” unique.
-
Use green or purple pudding for a ghoulish twist!
